Demolay down the coast had declining membership, and closed its doors shortly after declining help from RW Bro Goding. I won't speculate on the details, as there is a different, colourful story from each person involved (and I was not involved). I would hazard a guess that there would be sufficient interest to get another chapter up and running on the Gold Coast again.

There has been talk about re opening a IORG on the gold coast. As Ipswich lodge restated and has grown, we see that there is a stronger interest on the gold coast to reopen at Southport or at a venue of choice. All is not lost for international order of rainbows for girls in south east of Queensland. We have had the best year in growth and fun raising. I thank the girls for the commitment in there faith to carry out such great work. If any one can support and help out , You could be better directed by Mrs Denise Dickson supreme dep of Australia IORG. I hope that this talking about reopening on the gold coast, well lead it to happen. From little things big things grow.

I just found this topic (haven't been on here in ages). If there are freemasons who want to see De Molays or Job's Daughters on the Gold Coast or elsewhere, why don't you start the ball rolling?
All of the masonic youth groups need freemasons to assist the organisations and it is a great experience, so come onboard Brethren and spread the masonic family throughout Queensland.
